HEADLINE SHOW: VAL x PDOA LIVE | CIRKUS + PUNK 28–30 AUG | 20.00
A live post-punk spectacle created especially for the festival, where the music is the storm and the dancers rock the boat.
Acrobatic performers and a giant whale ribcage on a floating stage.
VAL’s ribs are opened with live vocal gymnastics by Madeleine Rose, its jaw is a catwalk enthralled with 8 circus acrobats, and its belly is a drum kit played by Anton Remy.
The bridge groans. The sea level rises. For one moment, the city’s forgotten underbelly becomes a cathedral of chaos. A powerful display of fragile resistance with visual poetry to light up the night. Stockholm welcomes Public Display Of Affection ‘PDOA’.
Showcasing exceptional local & international talent; Stina Riedel, Emily Chilvers, Sasha Niamh Lindner, Vejde Grind, Alvin Nilsen Nygaard, Siméon Gratini, August Rohde Aass, Lima Van Den Berg.
