Madeleine Rose (b. 1991)
is a conceptual performing artist, choreographer & creative director, specialising in authentic voice & movement. Currently lives and works in Berlin.
Madeleine rose to the live music scene as the cofounder & front womxn of P.D.O.A. experimental multi-media outfit, touring Europe from 2021 to 2024. Following their debut EP ‘P.D.O.A.’ & debut album I STILL CARE, she has recently released a double album with Public Display Of Affection in 2024 titled Expressions Of Obsessions alongside her main collaborator Anton remy, Kaio Moraes, & Sebastian Steins.
Her previous works 2017-2019 M.Rose partnered with Valentin Tszin developing dance theatre collective Das Gegenteil, a research and performance group of psychoanalytical body workers and improvisational dancers, creating underground stages across Asia & Europe.
M.Rose is currently performing in the Movement Choir of ‘EXIL’ at Berliner Ensemble (2022-2025) She plays a stunt dancer in Tom Tykwer’s latest movie DAS LICHT which premiered at Berlinale 2025.
