WAVES Voice & Movement Workshop

Deep dive into solo and group dynamics, heightening awareness, unlocking imagination, and creating sound through full body activation. Using methods of performing arts and unique creative processes, Tom Brand and Madeleine Rose will be facilitating a 4 hour workshop as part of 90mil Art School Summer Program 2024. Including; Intuitive movement exploration, finding limits & expanding beyond, challenging comfort zones, discovering pleasure while dealing with pain. By providing keys to access improvised voice & dance they will guide their participants to unravel unknown potential.

Each activation will embody the essence of Eros, Philia, Philautia, Agape, Ludus, and Pragma, creating an evening of unforgettable experiences that resonate deeply within. Step inside the labyrinth to discover the whimsy and surprise that awaits, sparking conversations and connections to last beyond the night.

Multi-Disciplinary Artist showcase

Immersive runway fashion show, collaborative performances from musicians, poets, dancers, live painters, performance artists, DJs, projection mappers, burlesque performers, roving circus acts, comedians, full band performances, magician / mentalist. The evening will feature interactive art exhibits, themed installations and back stage parlours with hand-crafted couture, tattoos, tarot and nail art.

Bang On Fest

BANG ON

Bang On is dedicated to supporting young, up-and-coming Berlin bands, musicians and artists. Bang On has been organising events in various forms since 2016, having set itself the task of providing a stage for FLINTA* and BIPOC artists in particular. The focus is on a diverse stage programme.

Since the first Bang On events in 2017, the series has hosted over 90 local artists, sometimes as festivals, sometimes as corona-compliant open-air events. On several Sundays in 2021, acts such as THALA, Strand Child, Kitty Solaris, Breezy and Golden Diskó Ship performed in the garden of the cultural centre Zukunft am Ostkreuz.

This year the event will take place over two days from the 9th Sept - 10th Sept in Ausland, Berlin

For the voyeur in all of us, PDOA (Public Display of Affection) have arrived. Madeleine Rose, Lewis Lloyd, Anton Remy and Jesper Munk released their Debut EP – ‘P.D.O.A.’ in late 2021, quickly followed by ‘Pink City’. October 2022 sees the release of the bands first full length record ‘I Still Care’ Playing their part in keeping Germany’s capital weird, PDOA’s live shows hark back to the fearless eccentricity explored by the Berlin performance art and music collectives of the 1980’s. Described by Post-Punk Magazine as a hybrid of Jazz and Post Punk. An act of near zen like non duality, hittin’ that golden ratio between the soulful andthe sinful.
